Nightfall is about appreciating the little things. Finding beauty in the things we pass by without second thought.

My journey through visual arts and imagery, like many others, is far from a straight path. With each turn, stop and start comes a new feeling, a new thought, a new vision. I strive to achive emotion, and a natural sense of expression in all of my work to showcase life in it’s most true form. Starting roughly 8 years ago in photography, I slowly built up my confidence behind a camera and establishing my distinct view of the world through my work. Spending time in a photography class, getting hands on in the darkroom, experimenting with new genres, etc. all helped shape my view on what an impact imagery can have in life. As the years went on as a landscape photographer, I transitioned to grabbing my film cameras more and more for photos as the digital look left me feeling unfulfilled. This new undertaking taught me the importance of light for a story in imagery and taking every detail into account with each frame. Film still remains one of my favorite mediums and is mainly how I photograph today. However, throughout the years I found myself obseessed with learning about the processes of film production across several genres. Spending hours each day watching documentaries and movies analyising lighting, framing, story telling through action rather than words, and much more, I decided I needed to pivot my work. That brings us to current day, where I work a “9-5” to pay the bills and devote my free time to developing my skills, gear and craft as a new-found cinematographer. Yes, not a photographer…despite my background, the nuances of cinematography has pulled me in. I push myself to gain any first hand knowledge I can on Film sets/ Projects helping in any capacity, so if you have a Project/ Film set and are looking for grip/camera help see my Contact page! So whether that be a documentary, commercial shoot, short film, etc. I aim to exceed expectations and build lasting relationships.

Thanks for your time!
